Mastering Wealth Pty Ltd holds an Australian Financial Services Licence, under which we are authorised to provide general advice on, and deal in, a range of financial products to retail and wholesale clients, including:
(a) Provide general financial product advice for the following classes of financial products:
- Derivatives; an
- Securities; and
(b) Deal in a financial product by:
- Issuing, applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product in respect of the following classes of financial products:
- Derivatives; and
- Applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product on behalf of another person in respect of the following classes of products:
- Derivatives; and
- Securities

Remuneration
How does Mastering Wealth Pty Ltd get paid?
Mastering Wealth is remunerated directly through the sales of the subscriptions services / market reports, brokerage commissions and sales of products. Mastering Wealth staff and contractors receive a salary that may include bonuses or commissions based on performance criteria. Associations with other Financial Service Providers
Mastering Wealth Pty Ltd has established commission relationships with brokerage firms, and a full list may be viewed on our website www.masteringwealth.com.au . The relationship that Mastering Wealth Pty Ltd has with these brokerage firms does not, in any way, influence Mastering Wealth Pty Ltd in the provision of financial services to its clients. Retail Market Report / Subscription Clients will have to open a brokerage account with another appropriate provider of clearing and settlement for trading their stock and options contracts as Mastering Wealth does not provide this service.
Mastering Wealth and thinkorswim, Inc. have entered into an agreement pursuant to which Mastering Wealth will refer and introduce prospective customers. Other than by virtue of such agreement, Mastering Wealth and thinkorswim are not affiliated with each other. Thinkorswim has agreed to compensate Mastering Wealth for these referral activities. Mastering Wealth will receive a defined portion or percentage of all commissions and fees charged to you, the Introduced Customer, for each transaction entered for your account with the Company.
Mastering Wealth and optionsXpress have entered into an agreement in which Brokerage Services are provided by optionsXpress Australia Pty Ltd. The Company and optionXpress have entered into an agreement pursuant to which the Company will refer and introduce prospective customers. Other than by virtue of such agreement, the Company and optionsXpress are not affiliated with, and do not recommend, endorse or sponsor each other. optionsXpress has agreed to compensate the Company for these referral activities set out in the Company’s Financial Services Guide. Your continued use of optionsXpress’ services constitutes your acknowledgement and agreement to such compensation.
Privacy of client information
In providing our services to clients we collect personal information about them, including sensitive information. Please note we treat all information you provide to us in confidence and will take all reasonable steps to ensure non-disclosure to anyone other than for the purpose of fulfilling your instructions. We abide by the National Privacy Principles established under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2001.
We may disclose your personal information to external contractors for the following purposes:
- execution, clearing and settlement of Financial Products transactions ;
- accounting for Financial Products transactions;
- causing statutory audits to be conducted as required by law ;
- maintenance and service of our information technology systems ; and
- in the course of reviews by external consultants.
If you have problems with our service
If you ever have a difficulty or are not satisfied with our services you are entitled to seek resolution. We have procedures in place to ensure that any problems are fully considered and properly dealt with.
